WARNING WARNING WARNING To ALL of my "Friends" &/or Clients”and their friends & families if ANY of them have a dog, or even if they know someone who has.... PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!!
I came across a post from the USA today BUT THE EXACT SAME disgusting excuse for a "treat" is available & on sale in Australia! PLEASE BE AWARE that the issue in mention was with a larger dog, larger gut/bowel etc so I doubt if it had been a smaller dog the outcome would have been positive as thankfully it was in this case... I will attach photographs of the POTENTIALLY FATAL "treat" in its "For Sale" form, as swallowed/eaten form, then its form after BLOCKING the passage from bowel to a**s FOR OVER A WEEK before being removed! I have been in direct contact with the owner of the poor little man who has had the week from hell, so drastically ill his "Mum" was terrified she would lose him. This "thing" did not show up on xray OR SCAN??? what the hell it is made from is anyones guess! ... so it remained inside of him, BLOCKING his system for over a week before ALL other "options" were exhausted, & they had no choice but to open him up - this is what they found AFTER MORE THAN A WEEK!!!!! not even a HINT of it "being digested" STILL SOLID but now an almost rubber like texture "PLUG" trying to kill him! The end result is that thankfully, (due to his Mummas refusal to accept he wouldnt make it & kept trying to save her boy) the poor boy will recover after horrendous pain, vomiting, suffering as did his "Mum" for over a week, several THOUSANDS of $ in Vet bills. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FEED YOUR DOGS "ARTIFICIAL" " Treats! there are so many natural, dehydrated options SO easily available nowadays, (or make your own...) there is absolutely no reason to give them this artificial mass produced rubbish!! Oh AND.... this THING that nearly killed him was NOT "rawhide" or represented as such BUT WAS represented as a "BISCUIT"! YET it ended up as an almost rubberised lump! The owner of the poor boy who suffered (how many others are there that we will never hear about??) is in talks with an Attorney & will be chasing the manufacturer with everything in her being not only for compensation for the extreme financial load they have put upon her recently retired life but even more importantly to have this DANGEROUS GARBAGE that is being sold as a TREAT removed from sale WORLD WIDE!!!! PLEASE DO NOT FEED YOUR DOGS ANY "manufactured" so called TREATS - they just may be the death of them!
