Jordan has plans to plant sunflowers around October, but first there's a problem to solve - w**ds and heavy clay soil.

Rather than reaching straight for chemicals, the plan is to work on the soil itself.

By laying down mulch, we're hoping to suppress the w**ds, add organic matter and gradually improve that heavy clay into healthier topsoil ready for planting. 🌱

It might not look very exciting just yet… but hopefully in a few months this paddock is going to look VERY different. 🌻🌻🌻

This is what happens when Jordan does a video without the help of our social media lady... you can't hear anything but traffic 😂

The short version is, we are chasing broom heads for Hugo's new scratchy pole, and natural cotton or linen towels/blankets for w**d mats in his paddock.

We have set up a drum outside our front gate. If you can write your details and attach them to the broom head or towel, and can throw it in the drum from our front fence, we will gift you a dozen free-range eggs, and play the recorded slam dunk from our security camera on our page 😁

Edit: I should have checked that the gate was shut before posting this, so for all of the clever buggers who walked in and filled the bin, you are not entitled to any eggs 😂
