What are the chances, a cyclone in Brisbane. With the potential for history-making damage and destruction, and our panic merchant weatherman preaching a meter of rain and unyielding devastating winds, I couldn't have been more worried for the pony's and people who call Teembin home. Amongst the fear and chaos, we were so lucky to have Tania Maree Tucker and Rayleen Williams offer their assistance, and in no time at all, they had our horses and people to safety at the QSEC. Its times like these when everyone goes into panic mode and we are pulled out of our usual day to day comfort, that we see how vulnerable we can really be, and how lucky we are to have such people who selflessly offer every available resources and precious piece time that they have available, ensuring our safety.
Fortunately, Cyclone Alfred missed us completely, but not before the 4 sleepless nights where our anticipation for the worst had control. I feel truly lucky to have such people to call friends โค๏ธ
