Thank you North Queensland and for an amazing day helping some of the refuge dogs, greyhounds, German shepherd, cattle dogs, we had all the beautiful dogs 🐾😍🙏🏼

Thank you to this beautiful hound for the last 10 days💚 we provided individual care just like he was our own. He came on family outings. Other breeds with greyhounds? Usually, once they work out they are dogs too, it usually works well 😍 this is my one non-greyhound regular and he loves playing greyhound 😍 I always match dogs who are suitable to play …also slow introductions are perfect too 💚

We tried to tell them they’re not actually rabbits… but they’re not convinced 🐶💁‍♀️

Easter is a time for treats, naps, and a little bit of mischief… which, let’s be honest, is basically a greyhound’s daily routine anyway. 💛

A gentle reminder from our long-nosed Easter bunnies:
🍫 Chocolate is for humans only (we’ll happily take extra pats instead)
🌸 Keep those hot cross buns and decorations out of reach
🛋️ And don’t forget… the best Easter gift is a soft bed and feeling safe, calm, and loved

Greyhounds might look elegant and serious… but deep down they are just big, sensitive souls who want to be part of your world (and maybe steal your spot on the couch).

Most of the greyhounds that come here have more space than they are used to. It is amazing how they adapt and love to just explore and roam around. Occasionally they do a zoomie 😀 but more often than not, they just love to be.💚💚💚

There is something so special about spending quiet, one on one time with a greyhound 💚

Every hound who stays with me is cared for as an individual. I intentionally only welcome one to two families at a time so your greyhound is never just part of a group. They are known, understood and treated as part of the family.

That means time for cuddles, gentle walks, relaxed routines and simply being present with them. I take the time to learn what makes each dog feel safe, settled and happy.

Whether your hound is playful, sensitive, independent or a little bit velcro, they are supported in a calm, low stress home environment with close supervision and genuine care.

Availability is limited so I can keep this level of attention and intention.

Every greyhound who stays here is cared for as an individual. Some love to zoom, some just want pats, and some are happiest watching the world go by. I take the time to learn what each dog needs so they feel safe, settled and loved.

This is more than just pet sitting. It is about patience, understanding and treating every hound like they are part of the family 💚

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many beautiful greyhounds, each with their own personality, history and needs. Every stay brings a new experience and a deeper appreciation for just how sensitive and special these dogs are.

At Greener Hound, I offer pet sitting in a calm, low stress home where only a small number of greyhounds are cared for at any one time. This allows me to give each hound individual attention, close supervision and the kind of care I would give my own dogs.

This is a quiet, home based environment where hounds are treated as part of the family. There is time for rest, gentle walks, routine, and simply watching the world go by.

I also cater for greyhounds with special needs, including
