We’re excited to unveil our brand-new iM3 Dental Unit – the gold standard in veterinary dental care! 🦷✨

iM3 is a global leader in veterinary dental equipment, known for its precision, reliability, and innovation. This new addition allows us to provide even better dental care for your pets.

According to the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA), over 80% of dogs and cats over the age of 3 show signs of dental disease. Regular dental checkups are essential to prevent pain, tooth loss, and systemic health issues.

We are so thrilled at the arrival of our new state-of-the-art veterinary dental equipment and to celebrate, we’re offering FREE dental X-rays with every dental procedure booked in September.

Did you know Crystal’s Canine Classes runs puppy preschool at our clinic every Tuesday evening?

These fun, supportive classes are perfect for puppies under 6 months — helping them build confidence, learn key skills, and socialise in a safe environment.

Crystal has over 10 years’ experience running puppy classes, she is an experienced veterinary nurse with a strong background in dog behaviour and physiology. As a mum and proud owner of 2 year old Groodle, Percy, she knows how important a well-behaved pup is to family life.

😮Surprise!!!!!😮

Not one but TWO new vets have joined our team! Say a big welcome to Dr. Dean, who graduated in 2022 and brings a whole lot of passion (and pets!) to Bowral Vet Hospital.
Dean has a special interest in aquatic medicine, allergies, and all things German Shepherds 🐶He enjoys the variety of vet work — from surgery to internal medicine — and brings experience from Southside Vets and Sylvania Vet Hospital (and yes, he once helped out with laundry at VSOS — true story! 😄)

Dean has a 6ft saltwater reef tank — his favourite tank tenant is Putt Putt the pufferfish. He also owns a blue tongue lizard named Scout, and his beloved 7-year-old German Shepherd, Cuba.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dean painting models, reef-keeping, kayaking, 3D printing or bushwalking. He’s loving the open spaces, wildlife, and warm community here in the Southern Highlands and can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾

You may have already come across a couple of new faces in the clinic, let’s have a meet and greet!
Meet Dr Athena – Our New Vet with a Love for All Things Feathered! We’re excited to welcome Dr Athena to the Bowral Vet Hospital team! Graduating in 2021, Athena brings kindness, compassion, and a deep love for animals — especially our feathered friends.

With a special love for avian medicine, Athena is all about helping pets feel their best — feathers, fur and all!

She’s joined by her sassy Eclectus parrot Maggie, who’s already keeping things lively at home! One of Athena’s favourite things about moving to the Highlands is the peace and quiet — perfect for birdwatching and enjoying nature.

Next time you visit, be sure to say hello — Athena is looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾
