We are a small breeder of the Australian Cobberdog located in Central Victoria, Australia.

I never tire of watching the cogs tick in developing puppies. My very handy dad builds all sorts of enrichment activities for our puppies. This is another one of his brilliant inventions.

After spending the last few days in Bendigo, we farewelled Macey today. What an absolute pleasure it was having her stay with us. Macey is a true medium with such a beautiful temperament. Thank you so much to the Park family for being such wonderful, communicative and dedicated guardians. We can’t wait for Macey to welcome puppies and pass on her lovely nature to her offspring in 2026.

Our upcoming breeding girl Macey from LPW is spending a few days with us. Macey lives 3 hours away with the Park family, so we’ve organised for her to visit us for a few days so our home isn’t unfamiliar when she comes back to whelp (have puppies). She’s having a delightful time exploring our home and familiarising herself with our cobbers. Macey is a medium and has a lovely friendly temperament. She’s attended weekly dog training since she was 8 weeks old and her guardian family has worked relentlessly to ensure she has developed into a happy, confident, well rounded dog. We’ve already decided who we will be pairing Macey with when the time is right (a miniature red boy), but for now Macey is still enjoying puppyhood.

Artie’s mum says he’s truly wonderful and the perfect mix of calm and smart. Passers by often stop to comment on his magnificent coat. Thank you Jo and Hayden for giving him such a wonderful life 🩵

Last weekend, Willow and I had the privilege of meeting Blue who was bred by Cobberdog’s of Billietea Lane. He was beautifully behaved, had lovely sustained eye contact and was so responsive to commands. And did I mention just how handsome he is? Thank you Karen Kitty for bringing him along for us to meet. He is a lovely example of an ACD.

DC Allegra “Ally” is equal parts intelligent, playful and cheeky. It was an absolute privilege to visit her last weekend. She is maturing into a beautiful large medium girl.

Have you ever wondered what really goes into raising a litter of puppies? With a background in teaching and curriculum development, we feel passionate about educating our cobberdog community. From training tips to cognitive stimulation, feeding hints and early neural stimulation, we hope you find our content interesting and beneficial. Today we wanted to share an infographic we made outlining some of the hidden costs of being a responsible breeder. Our poster features an image of the delightful DC Columbo, an Assistance Dog in training.

Our gorgeous girl Stella visited us for a pamper session (full groom) today. She bounced back effortlessly after gifting us nine perfect puppies a few months ago. Stella has a lovely straight black coat and a stable, consistently calm, gentle temperament. Today she met Everly who was born only days after Stella whelped her litter. All going well, we will be breeding Stella again next month for her second and final litter.
