Licki mats are a great form of enrichment for both cat’s and dog’s and come in various shapes and sizes.

When, where and how?

Licki mats can be used daily and anywhere! Simply smoosh your pets favourite treats into the grooves and give it to them like a new toy.

Benefits of using a licki Mat?

~ Great for those treat motivated pets and keeping them entertained. Perhaps when you leave the house or you have visitors.
~ Can be used to distract a pet from stressful events eg: rain and high winds.
~ Stimulates brain activity in older pets.

At around 3:00pm most days Onyx arises from her slumber and makes her way out to reception.
She is greeted by a very enthusiastic hello from whomever is seated there.
She then embarks on her slow, casual stroll around the reception area noting all details of what might have happened in her absence throughout the day.
She exchanges a few side glances to clients that may be seated close by and perhaps a stare off with another furry. This is her “domain” after all. Some would think this is Onyx being social and only wanting to be part of the action. However, we know her true motives, especially at this time.

At around 3:00pm each day things start to change in clinic. Floors are being swept, rooms tidied, people are moving pretty fast. “Yes, right on time” she thinks. Therefore, her presence at reception is a mere reminder that it’s almost time for dinner.

This ball of fluff and cuddles is Blue.
Blue is one of our newest VIP club members and since joining has booked in for his discounted desexing and vaccination 😍
Blue enjoyed many things throughout his day stay... his favourite was hanging out with the surgery team during their lunch break. I also hear that he was VERY interested in what they were eating.
Since surgery Blue has recovered well and is back to his food investigating and playful self 💗

🦷Dental disease is common and can lead to early tooth loss in both dogs and cats. If untreated, it can later compromise internal organs such as the heart, liver and kidneys.

🦷Dental prophylaxis (commonly referred to as a dental in clinic), removes both plaque and tartar from teeth with an ultrasonic scaler, followed with a high speed polisher to smooth the tooth surface making it harder for plaque to attach.
