Hello lovely people, I've become aware of two Golden Retrievers who need temporary care until January next year with all expenses covered. If you are willing and able to take in these two girls until their person is able to have them back again, please let me know. Normally barking hysterically, this is Perry within our initial 2 hour session.

Simon and M had 4 sessions in total, learning how to support Perry from being a frightened little girl, barking at literally everything, to being able to walk past people, vehicles and various other inner city challenges. In lesson 4, she engaged with dogs at the park without fear, something she hadn't done even as a puppy.

Sometimes people are confused about the concept of dog psychology, thinking that we should be doing things with or to the dog. Really, we need to change the behaviours of the people...

"We worked with Maria on training our two-and-a-half-year-old cocker spaniel, who was very reactive both at home and on walks. Maria gave us clear, practical techniques that helped us manage those situations and also build a calmer, more trusting relationship with her. Maria was very knowledgeable and gave us valuable insights into how we interact with our dog, and the effect it has on her behaviour. We’re already noticing improvements and feel much more confident. At Mutts with Manners, we feel that our main goal is to increase dogs' confidence. When we met Kassi, she was so frightened when going for a walk, that her teeth could be heard chattering, and she would have to be carried outside to toilet. In our 2nd session a week later, Kassi, although clearly frightened, was able to walk out the front door herself. Session 3, another week later, Kassi walked with her tail up over her back - something she'd never done before. This is the confidence that committed puppy-parents can give their doggas in just 2 weeks! I'm looking forward to guiding her people in our final session, to have Kassi in busier areas with confidence :-)
