💖🐾 Ethel’s Big Day 🐾💖

Meet Ethel, a 7-month-old Chinese Crested (hairless) owned by our wonderful nurse Sarah from Vets4Pets Golden Grove! ✨

Ethel recently underwent her spey procedure along with a vulvaplasty, and we’re happy to share that she is now recovering beautifully at home. With the help of her comfy inflatable e-collar (no cones of shame here! 😉) and plenty of cuddles from her mum, she’s in the best hands. 💕

We’re so proud of this brave little girl – wishing her a smooth and speedy recovery! 🌸

Meet Gary, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever owned by our lovely nurse Maigan at Vets4Pets Ridgehaven! 💛

Gary recently came in for a routine dental scale and polish to keep his teeth in top condition. At home, his mum helps maintain his oral health by brushing regularly and using Oxyfresh – such a great routine for keeping those pearly whites shining!
He sailed through his procedure and recovery like a champ, with plenty of love and support from his sister Betty by his side 🐾💕.

A healthy mouth means a healthier, happier pet – just look at that golden grin! 😍

🐾 Meet Gabby (and her gorgeous cats Ivy & Leah)! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Gabby, our newest Veterinary Nurse, to the Vets4Pets family! She’ll be based at our Mawson Lakes clinic, but you might spot her lending a hand at our other clinics too.

Here’s a little about her:
“I was born and raised in Crystal Brook, a small country town two hours north of Adelaide. I went to Crystal Brook Primary and later Gladstone High School, where I completed my Certificate II and III in Animal Studies through TAFE SA.
During my Certificate III studies, I had a severe allergic reaction to a rabbit during one of my practical classes. I’d never had any allergies with my own pets, so it came as a big shock – and at the time, I thought it meant the end of my vet nursing dreams.
After graduating in 2016, I moved to Adelaide and began a career in hospitality. But my heart always came back to veterinary nursing. After adopting my two fur babies, Ivy and Leah – with no severe reactions – I decided to continue my studies after a five-year break.
I’m now completing my Certificate in Veterinary Nursing and was lucky enough to be offered a job with Vets4Pets while on placement in July 2025. I’m so excited to finally do what I love – caring for fur babies everywhere!
When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy playing sport (football and netball), going to the gym, reading, and spending time with Ivy and Leah.”

We’re so happy to have you on the team, Gabby – and we can’t wait for our clients (and their pets) to meet you! 🐶🐱💙

At Vets4Pets, we’re lucky enough to spend our days caring for these amazing companions and watching the incredible bond they share with their families. 🐶✨

We don’t think we need to guess too hard about who committed this crime… 🕵️‍♀️
Little Miss Suzie decided the best way to spend her day was by completely destroying her toys while her pawrents were out. When her humans came into our Golden Grove Clinic to grab her regular treats, they couldn’t help but share the hilarious story. Thankfully, this little rendezvous with chaos didn’t require a vet visit – this time 😅

Suzie is only 6 months old, so we’re hoping a little more wisdom comes with age… but we won’t hold our breath. 🐾💥

😇😈 Meet ‘Double Trouble’ – it’s these two!

Ollie and Jenson, the cheeky Jack Russell x Scottish Terrier brothers, recently spent the day at Vets4Pets Ridgehaven for their desexing. Both boys were very brave for their surgeries… even if they couldn’t resist being a little mischievous during their stay. 🫢

Who would’ve guessed with those innocent faces? 🐾💙

🎉 Happy 13th Birthday, Digger! 🎉

Digger marked his big 1-3 with a visit to our Mawson Lakes clinic for his vaccinations and arthritis injections – and of course, plenty of birthday cuddles from the team! His wonderful mum captured some lovely photos and even brought in a delicious cake for us to share in the celebrations. 🐾💙

We were so touched by her kind words:
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for making Digger’s 13th Birthday so extremely special. You are the best. Digger and I will never forget how special you made us feel. It was the start of a spectacular, pawsome Woofday.
I have always said Vets4Pets is the best veterinary service – this is why for 13 years I’ve travelled from Seaton just to come to you, knowing he gets the best care. Digger is my absolute world and the best gentle giant anyone could wish for. I know I’m blessed, but you are the people who make my visits with Digger so pleasurable.” 🥰

We feel very lucky to have been part of such a special milestone for this beautiful boy. 💛

🐾 Kindy Kids Visit Vets4Pets Angle Vale 🐾

This week Angle Vale Vets4Pets welcomed 19 curious and excited children from the Stepping Stones Angle Vale Kindy Room for a special visit to their clinic.

The kids enjoyed a full tour, explored real X-rays from different species, and learnt how to recognise how a dog is feeling. They also had a go at bandaging toys, dressed up in scrub tops, and listened to Poppy the Labrador’s heartbeat with a stethoscope.🐶🩺🤎

There were plenty of animal cuddles too – they met Jubjub the bearded dragon, Ruby and Megatron the Muscovy ducklings, Leo the sugar glider, and Pibble the baby brush-tailed possum. 🦆🐥🦎

A big thank you to Provet Australia for donating bandages for the activities, and to Scott from MSD (Bravecto Australia) for providing treats and goodies for the children to take home in their show bags – along with some Vets4Pets surprises!
We’re also grateful to our amazing team for making the day so special. 😇

How could you not want a big cuddle from this happy giant? 😎
Ivan the Rottweiler was in at Cottage Grove for desexing recently. He was on his best behavior for Nurse Sarah, which earned him some cuddles in return. We wish him a speedy recovery! 🐾
