After an exhausting 36 hours, everyone involved is relieved to share the wonderful news that Miss Mazie has been found safe and sound!

Mazie has received a clean bill of health from her veterinarian and is now back home, where she truly belongs.

Important Update to Our Valued Clients, Peers, and Followers

On Tuesday, September 23rd, we experienced a distressing incident at our salon when a dog managed to escape. She slipped her harness while being brought into the reception area, coinciding with the front door being opened. We are truly saddened by this event and want to extend our sincerest apologies to her owners, family, and friends.

We have been actively searching for her since the incident, including:

Conducting foot searches

Contacting local veterinarians and councils

Posting on Facebook

Enlisting the help of a professional pet detective

We are keeping the owners informed about any sightings and are assisting in every way possible. She has been spotted in Cobblers Creek and around Lysdander Place in Salisbury East.

In light of this situation, we are currently reviewing our safety procedures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

To all our clients, this incident underscores the critical importance of having properly fitted harnesses and collars. It also explains why we may appear abrupt when unleashing dogs in the reception area or when entering with other dogs already present.

To say I am PROUD of Jess and Bek in an UNDERSTATEMENT!

Over the last two days, the girls competed at The Adelaide Royal in the Grooming competition.

Winning in ALL of the groups of the competed in and to top it off Runner Up Best In Show AND Best in Show. All but one dog in the Best in Show line up was groomed by the girls!

Exciting Announcement from the Poodle Club of South Australia Inc!

We are thrilled to share that we will be hosting a seminar focused on grooming basics. This is open to all breed owners not just poodles.

Jessica Blackhearth (our resident groomer) and Kyla White from Kyla Styles Dogs will cover essential techniques for bathing, drying, and brushing, along with hygiene clipping, nail trimming, and the necessary products and tools—plus tips on how and when to use them effectively.

If we get enough interest we may looking in doing more private hands-on-classes in the future.

Please note that this is a dog-free event with a maximum attendance of 15 participants, so act quickly! Entries will close on Friday, 15th August.

Everyone please be careful when taking you dogs to the beach at the moment. There have been lots of such dogs and sadly some have even lost their lives.

Just when we thought Bek couldn't surprise us more, she goes and proves us wrong again!

For those out of the loop, Bek is off in China at the Baby-House Pet Grooming & Training School for a 7-week intensive course.

The past two weeks, she's been perfecting the lamb clip style (or "the modern" as we Aussies call it) for her CKU C grade exam, and guess what? She totally aced it with an Excellence Award out of 26 other competitors!

Congratulations Bek!

Guess what? Bek just snagged the fabulous title of Creative Grooming Specialist, certified by none other than OPAWZ!

Our pride for Bek is off the charts! Her love and dedication to creative grooming have truly paid off in dazzling style. And get this, she's now the first-ever creative specialist in all of South Australia! 🎉

We are so proud of Bek, who has only been grooming for two years.

Bek has a passion to learn and grow as a groomer. She has been coming in on her days off to get breed standard and technique lessons from Jess to accomplish grooms many experienced groomers struggle with.

We are so proud of how far she has come in less than a year at the salon and how much she has grown. We can not wait to see what the future holds for her.
