A big shoutout to both our amazing dogs and their dedicated owners for all the hard work, patience, and commitment you’ve put in throughout this journey. It has been such a pleasure watching everyone grow in confidence, strengthen their bonds, and seeing just how far you’ve all come.

While graduating is an incredible milestone, this is only the beginning of your training journey—everything you’ve learned here is the foundation for a lifetime of learning, trust, and teamwork together.

Most doggy daycares won’t tell you this… dogs need more than just play all day. 🐾

At Westford Co. Golden Grove, we believe great daycare is about structure, suitability and thoughtful management, not chaos or simply wearing dogs out.

That means:
• Rest breaks to prevent overstimulation
• Careful group matching over numbers
• Honest assessments if daycare isn’t the right fit
• Understanding behaviour changes in stimulating environments

A tired dog isn’t always a happy dog, and daycare isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Westford Co Golden Grove is looking for a Junior Team Member to join our team for after-school shifts.

This role is perfect for a school student who loves dogs and wants a first step into the animal industry. While the main focus will be on keeping our dog daycare clean and hygienic, you’ll also get hands-on experience working with dogs in a social setting. Think of it as a mix of tidying up and puppy playtime—you’ll never be bored!

Responsibilities include:
- Mopping and disinfecting dog pens and play areas (yes… sometimes after exciting moments)
- Cleaning and sanitising toys that have been thoroughly slobbered on
- Assisting with the safe handling of dogs
- Supervising up to 15 dogs during play sessions
- Helping manage dog behaviour while adhering to force-free handling standards.
- Upkeeping daycare hygiene and ensuring a safe, clean environment for all our four-legged clients

We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves dogs (obviously)
- Is reliable and shows up on time
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Can stay calm when up to 15 dogs decide it’s zoomie time
- Doesn’t mind fur on their clothes and the occasional slobbery kiss

What we offer:
