🎃Keep all your delicious lollies and chocolates out of reach from your pet, these are toxic for our pets

🎃Keep a watch on your pets when you open your door to the trick or treaters as our pets may want to make an escape

🎃 Some pets may be particularly anxious around costumes and spooky noises so ensure these pets have a safe space to retreat to if needed

SNAKE SEASON IS HERE 🐍

With the warmer weather arriving, snakes are becoming more active, and it’s important to know what to look out for to help keep your pets safe.

🚨 Signs of a potential snake bite can include:
• Sudden weakness or collapse
• Wobbliness or difficulty walking
• Vomiting or drooling
• Tremors or muscle twitching
• Difficulty breathing

⚠️ Don’t be fooled by a sudden recovery. Some pets may collapse and then appear to return to normal shortly afterwards. This does NOT mean they’re in the clear. You may also not see any obvious bite marks.

🐾 Suspect a snake bite? Every minute counts.
Stay calm and seek veterinary attention immediately. Call us on your way so we can prepare for your arrival.

If our clinic is closed, head straight to your nearest emergency veterinary hospital. Do not wait for symptoms to worsen.

📞 Have questions or concerns? Give our team a call on 8264 7111.

We’re calling on our wonderful community for a little help! 🐶🐱

Do you have any spare blankets at home that could use a new purpose? We’d love to give them a second life here at the clinic, helping keep our furry patients warm and comfortable while they’re in our care.

If you have any clean, gently used blankets you no longer need, we’d be so grateful for your donation!

Every blanket makes a difference, and we’re lucky to have such a caring community behind us 🫶🏼

📍 Drop your donations into the clinic during opening hours.

Thank you for helping us make our clinic a little cosier 💛

🌿 A little message to our local community… 🐾

We’re incredibly disappointed to discover that our plants have been stolen from the front of our vet clinic, and the area has been left trashed in the process. These aren’t just decorative plants — they’re part of our pet enrichment garden, designed to give our patients a chance to sniff, explore and enjoy a little extra stimulation during their visits. ❤️ We put time, care and love into creating a welcoming space for the animals in our care, so it’s really disheartening to see it treated this way. If you’ve taken the plants, we kindly ask that you please return them and help us restore the area. We’d really appreciate having our little pet-friendly space back to how it should be. 🌱🐶🐱

🐾💗 HAPPY VET NURSE DAY! 💗🐾

Today we’re celebrating the amazing vet nurses who go above and beyond for our patients every single day! 🩺🐶🐱

Our nurses are the ones juggling a million things at once, remembering every little detail, being the voice for patients who can’t tell us what’s wrong, and somehow still finding time to sneak in a cuddle.

They’re the calm ones when things get stressful, the extra set of hands when it gets busy, the ones celebrating the little wins, and the ones who show up with the same care and compassion even on the hard days.

They do a lot more than meets the eye, and so much of what makes a great vet clinic comes down to the people behind the scenes ❤️

A huge shoutout to our incredible nursing team for everything you do for our patients, their humans and each other. We couldn’t do it without you! 🥹🐾
