It's our 6th birthday! 🎂 🎉

SA Cat Rescue was officially incorporated on this day, back in 2019, so today's our birthday! 🥳🥳

As part of our birthday tradition, we’ve uploaded our Annual Update and Financial Report for 2024/2025 to the ACNC website - because transparency matters, and we want our supporters to know how their donations are making a difference.

LOOK at him. 😻 Just LOOK at this glorious boof. Isn’t he ridiculously handsome?!

This absolute unit came into care a few days ago via Roseworthy Vet. He’s not ready for adoption yet, so hold your enquiries… patience is key.

He’s battling a large neck abscess, and he needs LOTS of SACR-style love - think extra delicious food, cuddles, and gentle spoiling. This giant boy weighs only 3.7 kg, and with his frame, he needs to bulk up a fair bit. He’s so boney, but still majestic as heck.

Keep an eye on him - this handsome lad is going to steal someone’s heart entirely once he’s ready. 💛

Roo is a confident little tabby-and-white heart-stealer who assumes all humans are his friends - he’s usually right. He loves people with his whole tiny body and will happily insert himself into your day, whether that’s supervising chores, requesting cuddles, or reminding you that playtime is Very Important Business.

He’s a smart, playful boy with a sweet, affectionate streak a mile wide. Roo zooms, pounces, and investigates like a professional kitten… then follows it up by melting into smooches once he’s decided you’ve earned them. He has a gentle, loving nature wrapped up in a cheeky little package and isn’t shy about sharing his affection.

Roo would be happiest in an indoor home where he can grow up safe, adored, and thoroughly involved in family life. He’s the kind of kitten who will greet you like you’re his favourite person (because you are), keep you entertained with his antics, and curl up close when it’s time to rest.
