Hope | Born: Nov’24 | Female
Hope is calm, social, and playful with a beautifully independent nature. She loves being around humans and will happily follow you around, making sure she’s part of your day. While she’s not a lap cat, she’s learning to enjoy short cuddles and always seeks connection in her own way.
She’s very interactive and will let you know when it’s playtime with soft little meows and by circling around you especially if you’re distracted by your phone. Hope thrives on human interaction and prefers playing with you rather than alone. Wand toys are her favorite, and she also enjoys gentle hand play.
She’s well behaved at home, uses her litter box perfectly, doesn’t scratch furniture, and loves window watching. She wakes up every few hours just to check in, whether for company, playtime, or simply to be near you. She warms up quickly to new people and is truly a little social star.
Hope’s journey is one we couldn’t ignore. A kind soul, she was left to fend for herself, her future uncertain as she was due to give birth during the storms. When her case was shared, no one responded. But we knew she needed help immediately.
Even without space, we stepped in and rescued her, trusting that help comes when it’s needed most. And it did. Hope was spayed and welcomed into a loving foster home within our network.
Now she lives safely, enjoying her princess life with unlimited food and no fear of having to protect herself or her babies from the harsh world outside. We suspect she was abandoned when her previous owners left the country. She still had a fresh shave when found, but had clearly been surviving alone for some time.
Good with other cats with introductions. Dogs and kids not tested, but due to her nature she would prefer the be an only child.
