Some cats are born into loving homes.
Teddybear wasnโt.
Teddybear is a beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat mix, around 2 years old. As a kitten, he and his siblings were abandoned in a harsh area of Al Nahda and left to survive on their own.
While his two brothers were eventually rescued and adopted to loving homes in Italy, Teddy was somehow left behind. Whether he was too frightened to come out, hiding, or simply missed, nobody knows.
For nearly two years, he survived life on the streets. He endured hunger, thirst, extreme heat, neglect, and cruelty. He relied on the kindness of feeders when food was available and learned that not all humans could be trusted. At one point, he was even kicked away by a watchman.
The majestic cat he was meant to become slowly faded beneath fear and survival. His coat became dull, his body thin, and his trust in people almost disappeared.
Today, Teddy is finally safe.
For the first time in a long time, he has clean water, good food, a soft bed, air conditioning, and gentle hands caring for him. He purrs, makes biscuits, enjoys cuddles, and is slowly learning that love can be real.
But healing takes time.
Teddy still carries the scars of his past and needs a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace.
We are looking for a mature individual or couple, ideally without young children, who can offer him the love, patience, and security he has never truly known.
After everything he has endured, Teddy deserves more than survival.
He deserves a family.
A safe home.
A warm lap.
And a promise that he will never be left behind again.
