Meet Charlie 🖤 our newest little regular! This gorgeous pug recently started coming to us and has already settled into his weekly maintenance groom like he’s been doing it his whole life. Pugs need a lot more grooming love than people realise, those beautiful folds and that coat need regular attention to keep them happy and healthy.

Did you know the dryer is actually one of the most stressful parts of a groom for nervous pets?

The constant noise can make the whole experience really overwhelming which is why we use a Happy Hoodie. It’s a soft snood that sits over your pet’s ears and muffles out the sound, and the difference it makes to their body language is honestly unreal.

Less panting, less shaking, just a much calmer groom all round ✨ If your pet struggles with grooming, it’s worth asking your groomer about, it’s one of the simplest things we do that makes the biggest difference 🩷

It’s easy to overlook something like nail length…
A lot of pet parents don’t realise the impact it can have.

But when nails get too long, even simple things like walking or standing can start to feel uncomfortable for your pet. It’s not always obvious, they won’t tell you.

But over time, it can affect their posture and the way they move.

That’s why we always take extra care with nail trims. It might seem like a small part of grooming, but it makes a real difference to their comfort. ✂️

That fluffy coat is way more than what it looks 👀

The double coat can also mean constant shedding underneath… the tricky part is that a lot of loose undercoat gets trapped, sitting close to the skin and slowly turning into matts 🙅🏻‍♀️

Most owners don’t even realise it’s happening until their pup starts to feel uncomfortable.

But the good news is that it’s actually really simple to manage. All it takes it’s regular brushing and a consistent grooming routine to keep it clean, soft and free of dead fur!
