Never use human shampoo on your dog!

Dog skin is very close to neutral ph and significantly more alkaline than human skin so your pet shampoo should contain a ph as close to 7.0 as possible.

Human shampoos are more acidic with 4.5 -5.5 ph and are very irritating to your pet's coat and skin!

Acidic shampoos strip away protective oils from your dog’s coat and skin resulting in it being dry and irritated as well as a dull coat.

If you do, or plan to have one, here are some tips on how to properly care for these majestic cats! 🐾🤍

Firstly, ALL cats shed. That’s right they ALL do, however some simply shed more than others and most cats have three different layers in their coats (bet you didn’t know that!)

While Persian cats are known for their beautiful long and silky coat, these cats shed the most out of all breeds, so that’s something to consider before parenting them!

It is also important to brush your long haired cat everyday to help them shed their fur and maintain their shiny, clean, mat and tangle free coat.
