Snakes are often misunderstood, but with the correct setup and handling they can make calm, fascinating pets for responsible keepers.

One of the biggest mistakes new owners make is focusing on the snake before the enclosure. Proper heating, secure hides, fresh water, correct humidity, and a reliable thermostat are essential before bringing any reptile home.

Different species also have very different needs. Corn Snakes, Ball Pythons, and Boa Constrictors all require carefully monitored temperature gradients, appropriate feeding schedules, and secure housing to thrive.
