What is there not to love

Our Kriel kittens are very special. Thank you Natalie for helping and taking care of them. They have litterly been dumped and abandoned by their owners.

Now we will never be able to get the mother sterilised and she will soon be pregnant again, the same vicious cycle will continue.

Look out for the post from LP FiT Aerial Fitness Studio to join the kitten yoga class.

WINTER OUTREACH

This is our outreach in Nkomeni and actually a very nice winters day. Although only a few we had a great outreach!

Thank you to every angel person for the donations, support and food we receive Build it . Our animals are so greatful. Everything we receive donations, blankets food, and kennels is to better the lives of the animals.

NEVER A DULL DAY OR WEEKEND

For all donations we issue article 18A Tax certificates.

Please support local JB Feeds & Seeds have a donation box for LPBH for cat, kitten and dog food.

The past weekend not one or 4 kittens were dropped off, dumped but 9 kittens.
Seven of them not even 3 weeks old.

This is done by people living in Kriel. No responsibility or thought what will happen to them

No care in the world if we have the funds, the capacity or place to take them in. We always try our best to give them the best kitten milk. And Royal Canine is the best. But also very expensive.

The mother is still out there, unsterilised. She will fall pregnant again very soon. Do you even care?

From us thank you for being so irresponsible, for putting us under pressure, to hand feed 9 kittens around the clock! for making no plan to contact us and having no decency to ask if we can help.

We will always try to help as we are one of the very few Right to live organisations around this area.

This is not being the problem,
people like this is the problem.

THANK YOU WELMA for all the help and support we received from you Saturday. And for Walking that extra 10 miles to help us with milk. Above this you have also given us us an generous donation.

GOLDEN YEARS 🐕

Old dogs can be incredibly loyal and loving, and many stories celebrate their unwavering devotion.

We have a few senior dogs in our townships. Their stories are amazing, we will never know all of it, but since we started.our outreaches we have definitely helped them in many ways with vaccinations, parasite control and sterilisations.

We love these dogs with all our hearts. Most are older than 11 years!

They have endured so much and still they are loyal and always happy to see us. If you have a tin of dog food please support them.

Dijo was a hunting dog, and yes he can run like the wind. But due to his front leg broken twice during hunting expeditions he has a quite life now.

So Brown and Bobby have the same owner. They are definitely older than 15 years!

Frikkie was a small puppy barely alive when we saw him 2013.
His owner has since passed away but the family takes care of him.

Danger (our cancer survivor) lived many happy years after his treatment. (Passed away of old age). He was always in some sort of a fight.

Tequila was given away as a small puppy in town. We met her in 2013 when she was already a grown dog. (She also passed away off old age)

Skelm, what can we say. We love that face. Full of scars but beautiful.
We met him on our very first outreach in Marikana.

Growing old is never easy, especially for these dogs . But we are proud to say that our work and outreaches make a difference. And we will try to make life better for all of them.
