We went on a little WozaPaws field trip to Thabametsifarm near Magaliesburg to take some photos. What a lovely dog-friendly farm experience and hike!

Booking via WhatsApp was a breeze and the host is very friendly and helpful.

The trails are not marked, but they are also not difficult to navigate, especially with the instructions from the staff. We ended up doing about 5.5km. For the most part, the trails are easy, but there are some steep and slippery koppies. It was just me and my dog, and we felt safe throughout.

A highlight of the venue is the picnic area at the dam (toward the end of the hike), where you can canoe, braai, fish, or just relax. We could easily spend a day there, and will plan accordingly next time.

Dogs are allowed off leash on the trails, provided they are kept under control. Take note that there are farm animals and game on the farm (we were greeted by a herd of goats on arrival).
