Whilst we are full to capacity & cannot take more in at present... there comes along an URGENT case, that we cannot turn a blind eye to.
This tiny kitten was found hiding in a car engine, the owners of the car then proceeded to take it out from the engine & chuck it aside π. But the kitten was determined to go back to its hiding spot, which in turn led the vehicle owners trying to kill it by brutally kicking it away continuously (when it tried to run back under the vehicle in fear) π€¬π€¬π€¬.
Thankfully, a compassionate petrol attendant by the name of Mlu stepped in, rescued the kitty & took it away from the monsters (aka people) & the car, & even cleaned it up as best he could.
By that time, one of the locals arrived at the garage & took it through to the vets rooms for one of our fosters to collect. Determined to get the kitten to safely, Mlu was even going to walk it down the road to the vets π
Mlu as we've named him (after his rescuer) has some bruising around his mouth & was just wanting to lay on our laps wrapped in a blanky like a little baby last night. He didn't move around much so think he may be a bit sore (still smells very much like a car engine), but will get a good bath & blow dry once he has had a check up at the vet this morning.
To add, investigations are underway. Unfortunately Management were not available at the time yesterday to check if their forecourt cameras caught the incident (but are going there later today to ascerain). The chap who brought the kitten through said he doesn't think the camera faced the direction to where the car was apparently parked... but fingers crossed π€π» π€π»π€π»
