Today owner José Gamaldien and his stallion Hagglund received attention: treatment of wounds on the fetlock and coronet band. First the hair surrounding the wounds were trimmed, then wounds were cleaned, and thereafter ointment was applied.

Hagglund also received some feed, mostly Lucerne to build up his stamina.

Afrikaans:
Perde eienaar Josè Gamaldien en sy hings, Hagglund is vandag gesien vir die behandeling van sy wonde op die kroonlyn en fetlock. Die hare rondom die wonde is eers geknip, waarna die wonde met antiseptikum gewas is, en salf is aangesmeer.

Hagglund het ook kragvoer ontvang met n hoof basis van lusern.
