🌾 Cauliflower Harvest – A Season to Remember 🌾

Today we brought in our cauliflower harvest, and they were magnificent. Big, beautiful heads, full of life and promise. Each one a reminder that what you plant in faith, God grows in abundance.

Growing organically teaches us to trust the process. To wait, to water, to believe, even when nothing seems to be happening. Because beneath the surface, God is always working.

Just like in life, there are seasons where it feels like nothing’s moving. But then, suddenly... fruitfulness. Not rushed, not forced, just right on time.

We’re so grateful to be part of something so real. Something so rooted.
From our soil to your soul, may you be reminded that God grows beautiful things in hidden places.

End of Season Harvest

This week we pulled up the last of our broccoli, and oh my word, they were gorgeous. Big, strong, healthy heads that made our hearts so full. There’s something about harvesting what you’ve cared for that just stirs up gratitude.

Next week we’re welcoming in our cauliflower, spinach, cabbage, leeks, spring onions and celery. The soil has been generous. God has been faithful.

We’re constantly reminded that planting is more than putting seeds in the ground, it’s trusting God with the unseen. He works in the quiet places, growing life where there once was nothing.

What a privilege to grow organic food. What a joy to watch God take the ordinary and make it overflow.

Here’s to seasons of sowing, growing, and celebrating every little miracle along the way.

And then, what do they do....they grow into beautiful brocolli heads, just like that, on its time..

It still amazes me how a seed can sprout into a crop and a crop produces its fruit. Its by time, patience, care, nourishment...

Just like the crop, our hearts should mirror its transformation and allow our God to transform us all into our designed purpose!

Winter season!!!!
Planted our first seedlings on the 24th of April, and with a little bit of organic nutritional help from a company called Just It... their product truly made such a difference!

Whether you are growing small scale like us or on a bit larger scale, Just It has a variety of products to cater to you organic needs.

Today 25 June, 2 months after our first seedlings touched soil, we are extremely pleased with the luch growth!

🚨 Protect Nigel’s Natural Heritage – Say No to Coal & Limestone Mining! 🚨

Our town, Nigel, is home to a rich and fragile biodiversity, including unique bird species that depend on this land for survival. The proposed coal and limestone mine threatens to destroy our natural environment, bringing devastating consequences for both nature and human health.

Mining will result in:
❌ Severe air pollution from dust and toxic emissions, leading to respiratory diseases.
❌ Water contamination, affecting drinking water and surrounding ecosystems.
❌ Loss of critical bird habitats, endangering rare and native species.
❌ Destruction of natural landscapes, harming tourism and local agriculture.
❌ Health risks from exposure to heavy metals and harmful pollutants.

We call on the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment to reject this mining proposal and protect Nigel’s natural heritage. Once our environment is destroyed, it cannot be restored. Let’s stand together to safeguard our health, wildlife, and future generations.
