🐾 Snippie’s journey of strength, love & second chances 🤍

Snippie’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being bitten, her little leg was so badly injured that amputation became the only way to give her a chance at a happy, pain-free life. 🐶

To make her surgery and recovery possible, we started a BackaBuddy campaign - and we were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity that followed. From every donation, share, message, prayer, kind word and helping hand… thank you. 🙏🏼

Because of you, Snippie got the care she desperately needed. She is now on the road to recovery and learning that three legs are more than enough when you have a whole lot of love behind you. 🐾✨

Parvo is officially making it’s rounds in town, and one of the hardest parts of our job is watching dogs suffer, and sometimes even die from a disease that is completely preventable through a proper vaccination schedule. We can only do so much!

Skipping your dog’s vaccination is NEGLIGENCE, and it can have serious and life-threatening consequences. We understand that life gets busy, but vaccinations and boosters are not optional when it comes to protecting your pets.

We are seeing the devastating effects of Parvo every day, and it is heartbreaking when we cannot save a patient because they were never properly vaccinated.

PARVO VIRUS AWARENESS🚨

With parvovirus starting to do it’s rounds, we want to keep our Matoppi family informed and protected! 🐾

Canine Parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially deadly virus, especially in young and unvaccinated puppies.

🦠 Watch out for these signs:
• Severe or bloody diarrhoea
• Repeated vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Extreme weakness or lethargy
• Dehydration
• Fever or abnormally low body temperature

⚠️ Parvo spreads easily through infected faeces and contaminated environments, objects, shoes and hands. A dog doesn’t need direct contact with an infected dog to become exposed.

💉 VACCINATION IS YOUR PUPPY’S BEST PROTECTION!

Puppies require a proper vaccination programme and should be kept away from high-risk areas until they have completed their entire vaccination course.

❤️ If your puppy is vomiting, has diarrhoea, isn’t eating or seems unusually weak, don’t wait. Early veterinary attention can make a huge difference.
