PCA Heidelberg would like to make a difference in the lives of animals in our community. Finding loving homes for the unwanted, abused animals is part of our passion. Adopted animals can make a difference in our lives and give love that holds no bounds. We are advocating for animal abuse and cruelty to be reported and investigated to bring guilty parties to justice. We are encouraging responsible

pet ownership and would like all animals to be treated with respect and dignity. FIVE FREEDOMS

*Freedom from hunger and thirst – by ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigour.
*Freedom from discomfort – by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.
*Freedom from pain, injury or disease – by prevention, by rapid diagnosis and treatment.
*Freedom to express normal behaviour – by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal’s own kind.

❗Prepare well in advance for farm animals as well because they get cold too❗
🐶🐾🐱 We also ask that kindness is extended to vulnerable and stray animals as well.
