Welcome, little lady 🐴

Everyone, meet the newest little lady at Dunkes, and yes, she is as small as she looks 🐴 She came to us this week from Garden Route SPCA- George - all legs and curiosity, and she has already decided the whole farm belongs to her.

A big thank you to the George SPCA team for the work they do and for trusting us with her 💛 Sound on for her first proper look at the place. This is what a second chance looks like on day one.

Wollie found the sweet spot and lost his entire mind about it. Ears back, eyes closed, tail going like a metronome.

A few quiet seconds before he's back on duty, greeting guests, inspecting carrots, supervising nothing in particular. For now, this is the whole job.

After much clucking, a few dramatic struts, and what we're pretty sure was some serious flirting over breakfast...

Sally has finally found herself a boyfriend! 🥹❤️

He had her at cluck, and it's safe to say this was a match made in the stable. From the moment they met, they've been inseparable, scratching around together like the newest farm power couple.

Her official relationship status now reads:
💘 Taken by the cutest rooster in the coop.
Wedding date to be announced... although we suspect the guest list will include a few horses, donkeys, deer, cows, dogs, cats, one very opinionated rooster, and, of course, Wollie, who has already volunteered to be security. 😂🐶

Congratulations, Sally... we knew you'd find your happily ever after! 🐔💕🐓
