🐾 Saturday Spotlight: Support That Crosses Borders 🐾

Today we shine a light on two very special women — Liz Hillman & Anina Bornman — whose love for animals continues to make a difference, even from afar. 💛

Before immigrating, Liz and Anina lovingly cared for the feral colony at Magaliespark holiday resort. When they left South Africa, Harties Feral Cat Rescue stepped in to carry on their work. But Liz and Anina never stopped supporting the cats they once fed daily — they still sponsor the monthly food costs for the colony. 🙏

And now, they’ve gone even further! 💥 They’ve just sponsored 10 bottom feeders, specially manufactured by G&K Feral Feeder Manufacturers, to improve the feeding setup at Magaliespark. These feeders help keep food clean, dry, and accessible — a practical, long-term gift that makes feeding easier and safer for everyone involved.

Dear Joanne Kontaxopoulos and Harties Feral Cat Rescue PBO 930070619 , we want to say a big thank you to you and your teams, for the love and support. Your amazing contribution to help our business grow and the patience when we are a bit slow. What started as a small gesture to collect food for Joanne became a beautiful friendship and a wonderful partnership. Our feeders are standing proud at so many colonies in and around Harties, Magalies, Mooi Nooi, and a large smelter , too many to mention (and for the safety of the ferals) we thank you Joanne, Rudi, Melissa and Daleen and team.
