We All know Diwali and Guy Fawkes is upon us, this unfortunately brings distress and anxiety to many animals 💔🐾

Please keep your animals inside, make them feel even more safe and loved.

Fireworks can be harmful to animals in many ways, including:

Hearing damage
Fireworks can produce sounds between 120–175 decibels, which can cause hearing loss and tinnitus in animals like dogs and horses.

Stress and fear
The loud noises, flashing lights, and strong smells of fireworks can cause animals to panic and feel fear. This can be especially distressing for pets because of their heightened senses.

Disorientation
The shock of fireworks can cause wildlife to flee, which can lead them to end up in unexpected places, like roadways or buildings.

Abandonment
Wildlife may abandon their nests or young when scared by fireworks, leaving them vulnerable to predators.

Ingestion
Animals can accidentally ingest firework debris, which can cause life-threatening illness or gastrointestinal obstruction.

Pollution
Pollutants from fireworks can contaminate drinking water and waterways.

Wildfires
Fireworks can start wildfires that kill wildlife and destroy their habitats.

To keep your pet safe, you can:
Keep your pet indoors with a radio or TV on to help soften the noise


Socialize your pet to help prevent a fear of fireworks from becoming ingrained

Microchip your pet so it can be reunited if it runs away

If your pet is already scared of fireworks, you can consult a veterinarian for help.

My name is Marcelle, your FUR BABIES Nana and YOUR homes sitter!

My love for animals goes back many years. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals People are worried about their fur babies when wanting to go away as they feel that they don’t know who they can trust as their animals are a big concern. I have built up relationships with my clients through trust. Rest assured that your family pets are well looked after and loved whilst you away.

WHAT MAKES ME YOUR BEST PET/HOUSE SITTER?
Putting your heart at ease by communicating with you frequently whilst your fur babies are in my care. On a daily basis I will send you videos and communicate on how well your pet is doing.
I am committed to providing personalized services for each client by carefully assessing and listening to their needs.

SERVICES OFFERED
This primarily involves feeding, exercise and companionship. Clients are billed on a per-visit, per-day or per vacation basis, and include additional charges for multiple pets, travel expenses, and non-standard duties.
My experience and expertise are to look after: Fish, Cats, Dogs, Birds, Rabbits, Hamsters and monkeys!
Taking care of your plants and for longer vacations/Business trips taking the refuse dustbin out on the relevant days.
• Preparing food and feeding animals.
• Keeping animals clean and grooming them.
• Taking dogs for walks or playing their favorite game of fetch!
• Cleaning out kennels, pens and cages, and changing water and bedding.
• Looking after unwell animals or those in distress.

What are the responsibilities of pet sitting experience?

Pet Sitters supervise pets and take care of them in their owners' absence. Typical activities seen on a Pet Sitter example resume are grooming, providing food and water, taking dogs out for walk, taking dogs to vet appointments, administering medication, providing companionship, and following owner instructions.

My clients can be assured that their pets are in good hands whilst in my care. I will keep them safe and will always show up for the scheduled time with your pet.

I can't stress this enough! Animals are not a phase, when getting pets you are all they know. This is why i encourage when you go away get a pet sitter or house sitter so your furbabies do not feel alone and are still loved. When you do get a house sitter or pet sitter make sure they can provide references and are reputable.
