🌈 A Rainbow Kind of Day! 🌈

Our Gauteng team had a pawsome time visiting a local nursery school. The colourful playground reminded us of a rainbow cake - bright, joyful, and layered with kindness ❤
The wonderful children, teachers and parents donated food, toys and blankets, which we happily passed along to our local SPCA 🐾

Wherever we can, Angel Paws Therapy Dogs offers ad hoc visits for special events. On the 16 October 2025 the Coastal teams were kept busy providing smiles and comfort at two separate Wellness Days - to students and to members of the police.
The images exude happiness. Well done to all the gorgeous dogs and their handlers!

So many tails wagging at the Rescue Expo that happened last Sunday at the Bryanston Organic Market. Our Angel Paws Therapy Dogs loved meeting new friends - both two- and four-legged. Thank you to everyone who came by to say hi! 😁🐕❤

What is Compassion Fatigue?
It's a distinct condition from burnout, which arises more from general occupational stress experienced by professionals involved in health care work.
We often witness our dogs gravitating to staff at facility visits. They always know who needs them!

These amazing dogs and their dedicated handlers will now begin their probation visits - the final step before becoming fully qualified therapy teams.

You can count on ONE hand the number of Angel Paws Handler/Dog teams that have achieved this goal of 150 + visits. Fiona () and Delilah have done it! This team has been fundamental to our growth on the coast. There isn't a facility that Delilah can't handle, and Fiona's natural compassion makes her invaluable. She and Dilly epitomise what therapy dog work is about. We are so lucky to have them onboard! Well done!!
