This is Dobby. He is a 14-year-old Jack Russell x Dachshund cross, and he is a tripod (he lost his back leg in a car accident years ago, but he still runs like the wind!).
Right now, Dobby’s heart is a little broken. He lost his sister to cancer, and now, his family is facing a heartbreaking relocation to the USA under a refugee program. They desperately tried to raise the funds to take him, but it is financially impossible. They saved him from a tiny pet shop crate 12 years ago, and now they need a miracle to find him the perfect retirement home.
Dobby is pure love wrapped in fur. He is the ultimate companion who will follow you into every room, watch you shower, and stare at you lovingly until you realize he needs you.
Dobby’s Special Quirks:
🍗 Loves chicken at night and dry wors for snacks.
🛏️ Sucks on his favorite blanket to soothe himself to sleep.
💡 So smart! If you tell him the kitchen floor is wet, he goes and sits in the sun until it's dry.
🌌 He’s afraid of the dark. If he needs the bathroom at night, he will wake you up and expect you to stand guard outside with him.
🚫 No pools (he can't swim) and he prefers to eat his food away from other dogs.
He is healthy, fully mobile, and has so much love left to give. He will bring his bed, his bowls, his teddy, and his beloved blanket with him.
