🌟 AMAZING NEWS – XENA HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! 🌟
Our warrior princess, Xena, has finally found her happily ever after. ❤️
What a journey it has been.
Weeks ago, after escaping from a local animal shelter, Xena was discovered at Fourways Riding School. It appeared that nobody was searching for her. Alone, frightened, and severely mauled by other dogs, she lay in excruciating pain, helplessly waiting for someone to notice her suffering.
Then hope arrived.
On 18 April, Marion found Xena, and through a few quick phone calls and the power of a caring community, Xena was rushed to Petit Paws in Blue Hills.
From that moment, an incredible team of angels stepped in.
Roxy, Daniel, Maddy, and Savannah pulled every resource together to ensure Xena received the care she desperately needed. Through weeks of treatment, wound care, physiotherapy, sleepless nights, and endless dedication, they stood by her side every single day.
So much could have gone wrong, but because of these four remarkable humans, Xena was given a second chance at life.
We would also like to thank every person who donated, shared her story, offered support, and kept her in their thoughts. The outpouring of kindness was overwhelming and a true reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for an animal in need.
Pawsitive Animal Shelter, who kept a watchful eye throughout Xena's recovery, ensuring she always received the very best care.
Not one day did Xena feel unloved. Not one day did she go hungry. Not one day was she left in danger. Not one day was she forgotten.
As many of us knew, there was still one challenge ahead. Roxy and Daniel could not keep Xena permanently because she was reactive toward their cats. It was a heartbreaking reality, but Roxy never gave up searching for the perfect home.
And then, on Sunday, 31 May, everything changed.
Xena met her forever family.
They fell in love with her instantly, and Xena made herself right at home, happily settling onto her new human's lap. ❤️
She now will have endless space to run, explore, and simply be a dog. A life filled with freedom, safety, love, and the happiness she has always deserved.
To every single person involved in Xena's journey, thank you.
Thank you for the sacrifices. Thank you for the sleepless nights. Thank you for cleaning wounds, attending physiotherapy sessions, making phone calls, donating, sharing, caring, and believing.
Xena crept into all our hearts, leaving pawprints that will remain forever.
Her story reminds us that when people come together with compassion, determination, and love, miracles happen.
