Building on our previous post about the incredible show or team had last weekend:

Congratulations to Tracey Badenhorst and her GSP, Ambelagi Nyssa, for achieving their Flyball Dog Advanced title 💥🙌😁

With her calm and focussed energy, Nyssa is developing into a cornerstone of the team - staying "in the game", regardless of what we ask of her.

Our band of Mutts is coming together 🐕💪😁

Sjoh! We have been so busy, training our butts off, that we haven't been updating the rest of YOU😝

This past weekend, Muttley Crew Flyball had our best show YET! Our team ran a PB, well within the goals we set for 2026. Every team member (doggos included) did an incredible job, contributing to the overall success of the day.

The standout moment though, was when we were able to announce that Teddy qualified for his CHAMPION TITLE 🥳 This little firecracker, along with his amazing handler, Emma Sichelschmidt , have overcome so many challenges over the years - usually ones that Teddy decides on, in the moment! Looking at Emma's calm demeanor and Teddy's obvious "lack of breeding" for the sport, one could easily dismiss the two of them, but what a powerful and valuable role they occupy in the team.

We are so lucky to have a "Mutt" like you, Teddy!! 😁💥 Well done, Emma! Your dedication to Teddy and the team is inspirational 🙌

The end of a season always has highs and not-so-highs. This year, a valuable member of our team earned herself a well-deserved retirement.

Tessa, words cannot express the contribution you have made to the team over the last few years! Starting as an exuberant newbie, wanting to collect ALL the balls at once; developing into a consistent, "one-to-watch" competitor; ending your Flyball career as an absolute leader and pillar in our team!

You always gave your best, as your titles and now, Gauteng Provincial Colours show. No dog on our team deserves the recognition more.

We will miss your barking in the lanes, but we understand that your next chapter awaits you and that you are, obviously, going to excel in whatever you do next.

To her dog mom and handler, Shenique Coertze , thank you for sharing your journey with us. Thank you for always striving to be better. Your commitment to the team and to Tessa is truly inspirational and we are proud to have had you part of the "blue team". Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with anyone who needed it. Your contribution to the whole club, not just the team, has laid a strong foundation for the years to come - we are forever grateful!
