🐾Certified Hills Puppy Class:

Puppies aged 10 weeks to 4 months.

The foundation obedience exercises such as sit, stay, walking on a loose lead, come and leave. Off lead free play is incorporated into each class to teach the puppies how to interact appropriately with other dogs and increase their sociability. Each class includes information about the most common puppy behaviors that puppy parents experience such as biting, house training & jumping, just to name a few. A variety of safe yet stimulating puppy "obstacle courses" also help develop co-ordination and enhance obedience.

🤩 Rally Obedience

Rally O – Foundation:
Learn the skills required to successfully play Rally O at all levels. Dogs and handlers will learn how to execute turns, fronts and finishes, heel at different speeds, and stay in sit, down and stand. Novice signs and courses will be introduced.

Prerequisite: Intermediate Obedience
Duration: 6 weeks

Rally O – Novice/Advanced:
Teams will continue skill building and run full Novice courses each week. Advanced skills and off leash work will be introduced to teams that are ready for the challenge!

Prerequisite: Rally O - Foundation or previous Rally O experience
Duration: 6 weeks

Rally O – Advanced/Excellent:
Teams will continue skill building and run full Advanced courses each week. Excellent skills will be introduced to teams that are ready for the challenge!

Prerequisite: successful completion of skills from Rally O - Novice/Advanced
Duration: Until ready for advanced test

🐾What is Rally Obedience Training

Just like any team sport requires both teamwork and skill. In the Novice Rally class, handlers and their dogs navigate a course, side-by-side, as the handlers steer their dogs through a course of 10-15 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. At this level, all exercises are performed with the dog on a leash.
