Startline Agility — in action yet again 💙🐾

Roman 🐾 and Sam 🏃🏼‍♂️ are a team we’re incredibly proud to support — with multiple national podium finishes and having represented the South African team on two occasions at the Agility World Championships.

But what you see on the course is only part of the story.
Behind the scenes, there’s a real commitment to keeping Roman’s body strong, balanced, and ready to perform. It’s not just about addressing discomfort when it arises, but about maintaining his physical wellbeing so he can continue performing at his best.

That’s where physiotherapy plays its role — supporting strength, mobility, and long-term soundness for dogs competing at this level.

Tasha holds a BSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is passionate about continuously developing her knowledge and expertise within the field of animal rehabilitation.

Her passion extends across all aspects of animal rehabilitation, including early intervention and injury prevention, conditioning and strengthening, post-operative recovery, the restoration and refinement of motor control, as well as geriatric care. She adopts a comprehensive, proactive approach to ensure each patient receives the most appropriate care throughout every stage of recovery.

She has a particular interest in animal behaviour, which she integrates into her treatment approach to better understand each patient and tailor rehabilitation programmes and exercise plans to their individual needs.

She firmly believes that no animal is untreatable, and is committed to exploring every appropriate avenue to support recovery, comfort, and improved quality of life.

Tasha is Kirsten’s right hand, and is ready and available for home visits in the northern and southern suburbs of Cape Town.
