No words! We are so privileged to be working with these teams who recently competed successfully at the South African Agility Championships in Johannesburg. 🇿🇦🏆

A few podiums and stunning clear rounds on some tricky courses to boast!

But what truly makes these teams special is the dedication their handlers have to making sure their teammates are feeling incredible on and off the agility field. This takes consistent extra effort in combination with regular physiotherapy checkups and treatments to bring out the very best in these dogs.

Fascial cupping is used as a treatment tool to release fascial adhesions, improve blood flow, and restore connective tissue functionality. This technique creates a negative pressure suction over the skin to mobilise the fascia and create a gap for improved blood flow.

Fascia forms the spiderweb that holds the body and its organ systems together. 🕸

Dysfunctions in the body consequently result in dysfunction of the fascia / ‘scaffolding’. Our physiotherapists can use the treatment of this tissue to progressively reduce symptoms of dysfunction in the connective tissues of the body - muscle, tendon, ligaments, and nerves.

We love having fascial work in our toolbox to further enhance our patients’ outcomes. ✔️
