I took in a cat with 3 little kittens about a month ago.She was rescued from a squatter camp in Kraaifontein.I called her Mamma.She raised her kittens at ART.After she was tested and sterilised her kittens all found homes and then a lady who met all my adoption criteria offered her a second chance.Unfortunately within 24 hours of her going to her new home a window was left open and she ran away.
I was devastated and we sprang into action I even offered a reward.I must thank Dani and Kirsten my dear friends and ART members who rushed out in the middle of the night to search,Nicole my friend and volunteer who spent so much time with Mamma,Lindi who originally rescued her out of the squatter camp went and set traps we posted on every social media platform.
I also contacted Shelly Napier an animal communicator and tracker who is truly blessed with a gift and passion for what she does.
Last night after 22h00 Nicole and I went back to the location (we'd been there Sunday evening too but earlier)and based on Shelly's 100% accurate feedback Mamma showed herself and came into Nicole's arms and we brought her home.
The adopter and I have come to an understanding about the situation and I have refunded the adoption fee.
