Beautiful Zorba wasn’t feeling himself. Luckily, his humans were paying attention. 🐴❤️ Here’s what happened…

We were called to assist when this handsome boy from Genadendal stopped eating and drinking. After colic medication, something still didn’t seem right, so his responsible owners, Melanie Martin and David Coetsee, called in the vets from Overberg Dierehospitaal.

Despite it being a very rainy Sunday, the vets came out to treat Zorba. We continued monitoring him closely and were hugely relieved when he started eating grass, drinking water and, most importantly, passing manure again. 💚

A big thank you to Melanie and David for taking such good care of Zorba, acting quickly when something was wrong, and for donating to support other animals in our care. 🐾 P.S. We love Zorba's dreads. 🐴
