💔 A Difficult Few Weeks for Our Feline Friends 💔

Over the past week or two, we have been called out to far too many cases involving deceased cats. It has been absolutely heartbreaking. As pet owners ourselves, we know that our animals are family, and we understand the devastation that comes with losing a beloved companion.

Unfortunately, we have seen an alarming number of tragedies recently - cats being poisoned, caught in snares, struck by vehicles and becoming trapped in dangerous situations. While we always hope for a happy reunion, finding a body is never the outcome we want for any family.

🐾 Here are a few ways you can help keep your cats safe:

🏠 Keep cats indoors, especially at night when many dangers increase.

🏡 Consider building a catio or enclosed outdoor space where your cat can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

🔔 Use breakaway collars with identification tags and ensure your microchip details are up to date.

🚪 Be mindful of open gates, doors, garages, and windows where curious cats may slip out unnoticed.

🌿 Check your surrounding area for potential hazards such as snares

❤️ Provide plenty of enrichment indoors — climbing trees, scratching posts, toys, and interactive play can help satisfy your cat's natural instincts.

📸 Keep recent photos of your cat on hand in case they ever go missing.

🏡🐾 WELCOME BACK HOME MIKA! 🐾🏡

Missing for TEN whole days, this beautiful girl had her family worried sick 😭💔

The moment we arrived, K9 Arlo wasted absolutely ZERO time picking up Mika’s scent trail. About 4 houses down, Arlo suddenly wanted to enter a property. When we asked the neighbours for access, they mentioned they had actually seen a cat matching Mika’s description just TWO days earlier… 👀🐱

We continued tracking, and just a few houses later Arlo became VERY determined to squeeze himself through a palisade fence…

Unfortunately nobody was home, so we couldn’t get access. But Mika’s dad quickly shared her photo on the neighbourhood WhatsApp group — and then came the message we had all been hoping for:

The neighbour from THAT exact house said Mika had been visiting every evening for dinner! 🍽️🐱

That same night, Mika’s dad went over to collect her SAFE AND SOUND ❤️🏡

🐾 WELCOME HOME NALA! 🐾

This was such an emotional one! ❤️

Nala emigrated to South Africa all the way from Dubai, where her mom originally rescued her. Somehow, this little Dubai princess managed to escape through a door that was accidentally left open by the gardener… and off she went on her own adventure. 😭

Nala went missing on Thursday and her mom contacted us for help — we just had to assist!

K9 Arlo searched his little heart out. 🐶❤️ Nala’s scent was very strong in their property and the one next door, but she was hiding incredibly well and staying completely out of sight.

Just after we had left, Aly from Endless Pawsibilities Animal Communications assisted us. Following our guidance, Nala’s mom spent about an hour just after we had left, doing scent trails exactly as explained… and low and behold, shortly afterwards they spotted her! 🙌

The reunion was absolutely emotional 🥹❤️

Welcome home sweet Nala — your family is complete again! 🐾

One whole year…
365 days without my heart and soul — K9 Red & K9 Khaos. ❤️🐾

Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about you both. The silence you left behind is something I still struggle to put into words. People say time heals, but the truth is… it doesn’t get easier. You simply learn how to carry the pain while still trying to move forward.

Khaos, my beautiful queen.
I hope you can see us from wherever you are. I hope you’re proud of me… and proud of K9 Arlo too. He had some incredibly big paws to fill, but I know you both would have absolutely loved him. You would have chased each other for hours, worked side by side, and caused all kinds of chaos together. I can just picture it.

There are moments during searches where I still expect to hear your paws behind me or feel your presence beside me. A part of me will always be waiting for that.

Thank you for every search, every cuddle, every lesson, every victory, and every unconditional moment of love. You were my purpose, my strength, and pieces of my soul that I will never get back.

I promise your legacy will live on through every missing pet we help bring home. Through every family reunited. Through every life touched. Your names will continue to mean hope.

I miss you every single day.

💔 RIP Precious Codey 💔

After being missing for two long weeks, the heartbreaking news no family ever wants to receive finally came today. Sweet Codey has sadly been found and has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾

No words can truly ease the pain of losing a beloved family member, especially after holding onto hope for so long. Codey was deeply loved, cherished, and missed every single day he was gone. His paw prints will forever remain on the hearts of those who loved him.

Run free, beautiful boy. Enjoy the endless sunshine, soft grass, and peaceful naps. T

Welcome back home, Schofield! 🐾❤️

Schofield gave his family quite the scare after managing to escape his large crate during the evening, squeezing his way out through an open window and making a run for it.

With K9 Arlo on the job, it only took a few minutes to pick up his trail and work out exactly where he had gone through. There were several openings along the boundary wall leading into the neighbouring complex, and although we managed to gain access, we couldn’t check the specific properties where we suspected he was hiding.

When Schofield’s family tried to return later to continue the search, access was denied due to it being labeled a “security threat.”

But this is where persistence and the right guidance make all the difference. We provided clear instructions, and with a bit of patience and determination… just like that, Schofield made his way back home where he belongs. 🏡

Welcome back home, Felix! 🏡💛

Felix went missing TWO weeks ago… yes, TWO weeks! His family never gave up hope — and neither did we.

Arlo got to work, scenting Felix’s scent item, and just like that… he was off! Over the boundary wall and straight into the neighboring complex. Once there, we spoke to residents who confirmed a few sightings — always a good sign.

Arlo continued tracking all the way to the back wall bordering a greenbelt. From there, he led us directly to a large drain… and within seconds — there he was! Felix popped out and shot straight up a tree! 🌳

Even with his mom calling him, he was still in survival mode and bolted again. But the search wasn’t over. We followed where Felix had crossed — Arlo picked up his scent again in a yard inside the complex - and sure enough, he was hiding in a drain beneath that property.

And just like that… Felix is home, safe and sound. 🐱✨

Welcome back home, Greg 🐾💙

The weather definitely didn’t make things easy! Rain on and off, cold and cloudy — so we had to wait for a break before heading out. The moment it cleared, we got moving to help search for him.

K9 Arlo wasted no time and quickly picked up Greg’s scent, tracking it through a pedestrian gate leading onto the golf course. He led us left, and about three houses down (along the golf course boundary), he showed a very strong scent indication right next to a green palisade fence.

We considered setting a trap, but due to Greg’s back condition, his mom made the careful decision not to risk any potential injury. Instead, the family stayed committed - doing their homework every single day.

And it paid off 🙌
Last night, they found Greg… right by that very same green palisade fence K9 Arlo had indicated!

He’s a little thinner and stressed, but otherwise perfectly fine — and very happy to be back where he belongs 🏡✨
