Welcome Dr. Kisha Christian to the FEDA Board!

The Frederiksted Economic Development Association (FEDA) is proud to welcome Dr. Kisha Christian as one of our newest board members.

Dr. Christian is a selfless, innovative, and community-driven entrepreneur whose passion for service and transformational leadership makes her an incredible asset to our team. A proud Crucian, she is the younger of two children born to Charles “Charlo” and Kathleen Christian and is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters – Marisha, Shamara, and Makia – as well as a delighted new grandmother to her grandson, Mosai.

A 2004 alumna of the University of Georgia with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Dr. Christian realized a lifelong dream in 2015 by opening Neighborhood Pharmacy in St. Croix — a customer-centered, holistic healthcare facility dedicated to improving patient care and the overall quality of healthcare on the island.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Christian is deeply committed to uplifting the community through initiatives like Back-to-School Backpack Giveaways, Monthly Feeding Programs, and Territorial Christmas Giveaways, directly supporting vulnerable populations across St. Croix.

Her impactful work has been recognized through numerous honors, including citizenship awards for volunteerism, Pharmacist of the Year, Employee of the Year, and Small Business of the Year. Most notably, Neighborhood Pharmacy received the Ken Wurster Community Leadership Award, a testament to the team’s tireless community service.

In a full-circle moment, Dr. Christian used the award funds to establish the Kisha Christian Scholarship for Minorities at the University of Georgia, ensuring her legacy of service extends beyond the Virgin Islands.

Dr. Christian’s dedication to responsible, responsive, and resilient community leadership perfectly aligns with FEDA’s mission. We are honored to have her expertise, compassion, and visionary spirit as part of our board, and we look forward to the great work we will accomplish together for Frederiksted and beyond.
