Saving a very very sick puppies life is a no brainer.
This little girl needed help and her life literally depended on it.
It was the worst news….parvo.
She had been sick for at least 4 days and her mom could not afford her care.
When no one else was stepping up, we did.
Her estimate is roughly $4,500-$6,500. We don’t have it so we need help and we need it desperately.
Without this care it’s absolutely certain, she would not survive.
You can either donate through our PayPal, Venmo or on this post, or you can also call Como Park animal Hospital directly, and ask to donate towards the Pavo Puppy we have hospitalized named Zoey.
Thank you!!!!
This will truly take a village.

Little Bagheera spiked a fever of 107 out of the blue and started screaming out as if her leg was in severe pain. She was hospitalized overnight and continues today.
The good news is she just ate a nice big breakfast so that’s great!
Stay turned and paws crossed.

We need to say something about the comments being made on our post about Beefcake.

When an animal has been in our care for four years and passes away, the last thing we should have to deal with is people coming onto a post about his death and being cruel, judgmental, and making assumptions about things they know nothing about.

We asked for time to grieve, and we deserve that.

Some have commented that they wished Beefcake had a family. The truth is, he did have a family. He had us. It may not have been the kind of family or the kind of life we had hoped and dreamed for him, and we wish with everything in us that we could have given him more. But he was ours, and he was very loved.

For four years, Beefcake was in our care. He received routine veterinary care. He was fed, sheltered, cared for, and loved.

To suggest otherwise is not only unfair—it is deeply hurtful, especially at a time when we are grieving the loss of an animal who was a part of our rescue family for four years, and let’s not forget, when he came to Rescue, he was going to be euthanized in a local shelter and not one rescue organization besides, ours was even trying to help him. People seem to forget that.

You do not have to know the entire story to have compassion. And if you don’t know the story, please don’t assume you do.

We will not be engaging in further discussion or defending ourselves in the comments at this time.
We are asking that you please respect that. I shouldn’t have to get up in the morning and see people attacking us and spend my morning deleting and blocking those people. It’s disgusting and honestly quite painful.

Let us grieve our boy. ❤️‍🩹🌈

Today, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to help Beefcake cross the Rainbow Bridge. 💔

This is a decision we never wanted to have to make, and one that has left our hearts absolutely broken.

Beefcake was deeply loved, and we are going to take some time to process today and grieve the loss of him.

For today, we simply ask for some grace, compassion, and understanding as we say goodbye to a very special boy.

Run free, Beefcake. 🌈🐾💔

If you missed it yesterday we sent out an urgent plea for donations.
This sweet little baby was in need of rescue to save her life.
She had a foreign body in her GI tract and her owners were not going to provide her care so we stepped in.
Emergency surgery happened last night and she didn’t the night getting fluid therapy while she recovered.
We are very happy to report that she is doing well, but we still need a significant amount of financial support.
Had we said no she wouldn’t be here today so please help us help her. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
