We just got devastating news.
Lisa, our beautiful girl who found herself homeless with mammary, tumors, and stomatitis, and sadly contracting feline leukemia had to criss the rainvpw bridge.
We did so mucj fot het to make her life more comfortable. She had surgery to remove the tumors and healed beautifully. She had extensive dental work to help her mouth feel better, and she even got a best friend, Biscuit.
One of her caretakers noticed her breathing was off and an x-ray discovered that she likely had a mass in her chest that had ruptured and she was ready to leave a body that no longer served her.
Run free beautiful girl.
We hope you know we loved you and we tried our best. 😢❤️

Are you comfortable Oliver? 😂

Several years ago, Oliver was adopted from us. Sadly, he ended up at the Humane Society instead of being returned to our care. They adopted him out again — twice, only for him to be returned almost immediately.

The reason? He was having urinary issues and needed a special diet. Instead of working to help him, he was given back once he had a full urinary blockage. By the time he returned to us, he needed emergency care to save his life.

Yes — that really happened. This sweet boy was failed over and over again. Instead of sending him back to the place that loved him, the Humane Society adopted him out twice, collected adoption fees, and ultimately sent him back to us after he suffered.

Now, Oliver is safe and healthy on his special food, and he’s been thriving! He’s incredibly affectionate and would be the perfect best friend for someone willing to keep him on the diet he needs.

Let’s give him the happy ending he deserves. If you or someone you know is ready to love and protect this precious boy, please share his story or apply to adopt.

Some feel good for you!
We were asked to assist with a situation where a woman’s dog had to be on a bite quarantine. Nothing major, but following the law.
In order for her to be able to get her dog back, he needed to be updated on vaccines, which financially she was not in a position to afford.
We were so grateful to have our doctor Volunteer her time to facilitate these vaccines, and our Rescue donated the vaccines.
Sometimes you have to think outside of the box.
Keeping Families Together.

While attempting to attract and catch another cat running around on the sanctuary property, we discovered we have another cute critter living at the sanctuary who thought the food was for them.

🚨 EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED 🚨

We have a critical situation at right now.
A sweet cat has ingested topical flea & tick medication from the family dog — a toxic dose for cats. He is now in critical condition and needs intensive, round-the-clock veterinary care IMMEDIATELY to have a chance at survival.

His family loves him dearly, but they simply cannot afford the lifesaving treatment he needs. We cannot stand by and do nothing, but the cost of this emergency care is beyond what we can cover alone.

💔 Without treatment, he will not make it.

We are asking our community to come together right now to save his life.
Every single dollar counts — no amount is too small.

🐾 Be Their Lifeline Every Month 🐾

Did you know that monthly donations are one of the most impactful ways you can support our rescue? 💛

While one-time gifts are always appreciated, recurring donations allow us to plan ahead, say YES to more animals in need, and ensure we never have to choose between food, medicine, or safe shelter.

✨ Imagine this:
$10/month = vaccines for a new rescue
$25/month = food for a senior cat
$50/month = life-saving medical care for a sick dog

These monthly gifts keep us going—even during the slow seasons when donations dip but the need doesn’t.

👉 Become a monthly donor today and help us continue saving lives, one paw at a time.

From all of us (two- and four-legged), thank you for being part of our rescue family. 🐶🐱💕
