Fetch Remedy Dogs is so excited to announce that we have partnered with Changing Minds LLC to be able to provide Clinical Mental Health counseling services utilizing animal assisted therapy! This has been a goal of ours since the beginning and we are thrilled to be able to provide this service for our community. Our Licensed Clinical counselor Jensen McVey LPC has experience providing counseling services for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and senior citizens. Today Kiwanis Club members presented the CAC of Guernsey County with their Kiwanis Foundation Grant to aide in the purchase and training of their facility dog. Fetch Remedy Dogs partnered with Angela and Andrea to make their dream a reality. The Foundation Grant funds were the missing piece…until today 🙌🏻

For 31 years, our Kiwanis Foundation has provided 501 c3 non profit organizations funding through our grant committee. To date, the Foundation has given over $1.6 million to local charities and organizations to fund projects that help children and families in our area.

There’s still time to apply for this grant period. All grants must be turned in by3/31/25. Our second round is due in the fall! The application will be posted in the comments 💙💛💙💛

Also our annual Pulled Pork Luncheon is just around the corner! Flyers will be out soon but mark your calendars as orders are due by May 2nd and pick-up or delivery is May 9th! Proceeds go to our service fun at the club level, which also goes back out in the community to 501 c3 organizations helping the future generation to know they’re supported!!
