Right Fit Rescue

Right Fit Rescue Right Fit Rescue is an animal rescue in southern California. We are a nonprofit 501c3. We are a nonprofit dog rescue in southern California.

(501c3) We primarily focus on saving mother Dogs in high risk situations and dogs at risk of being euthanized. In 2022 Right Fit Rescue saved 45 dogs. We fixed them, vetted them and found them homes. We could not have done this without the help of our rescue friends - fosters, volunteers, donors, and adopters. Thank you to everyone who helped!! We believe it takes a village to save dogs and we hope you will be part of our village!!!

🚨 Foster Needed for These Adorable Kittens 🚨

These sweet kittens are currently living outside in a parking lot in Yucaipa. We’re working on a plan to safely trap the entire family, but we need a foster home ready for them once they’re secured.

Without a foster, we have nowhere for them to go.

This baby girl, I was saved from San Bernardino after her puppies were stolen. We literally had to call the police to help us get her safe. Thank you for everybody support. It takes a village.

Meet Phoenix — the only kitten that got out of SBC yesterday.

We were sent eight neonatal kittens that were past their euthanasia deadline.

We only had one open foster, so we had to choose which ones we could take.

There is no way to explain how awful that feels. Looking at eight tiny babies and knowing you do not have the space to save all of them is something that stays with you. Every decision feels impossible, because choosing one means knowing the others are not going to make it out.

We chose the two 4-week-old kittens — one healthy kitten and one kitten with a congenital defect.

But before we could get to them, the healthy kitten was euthanized.

That left the kitten with the congenital defect — the one we gave the name Phoenix. 

Phoenix will need ongoing care and surgery due to her condition. She will be seeing a vet tomorrow.
