Why we treat Part 3… treats for bonding. Giving your dog treats just because is a great reason on its own. Treating is a great way to strengthen the bond between the two of you. Dogs associate the reward with the person giving it, building trust and affection. It’s also a great way for new faces to earn a dogs loyalty. Never underestimate the power of a dog treat.
