New Class Added. Which do you want to make?

Jan Null, from Outta Her Gourd, will guide you in decorating a scarecrow or sunflower/chicken design (your choice) with acrylic paints on your large (est. 8 inch) gourd. Your artwork and gourd will be sealed with polyethylene so it will last a long time, even outside. Bring a friend or two or five.

Learn how to make your own sourdough and butter. This class includes your sourdough starter to get you started and you'll get a sampling of the warm homemade bread and butter. Teacher- Tanya

Why should the 4H kids get all the fun? We are looking to start an Adult Alpaca Club. It is in the initial stages and will likely involve walking alpacas, training alpacas on the obstacle course, show training, possibly fiber art projects if there's interest.

If you are interested, please email me at [email protected] with 'Adult Alpaca Club' in the subject. Include your name, days/times available, text phone number and any other information you'd like to share regarding interests. We'd like to meet once a week, but if that is too much for your schedule, please include how many times a month you would be able to meet.

Stella (mom) and Scarlett (cria) are our newest residents at Shear Heaven Farm! They were rescued after their owner passed away and were in need of some special attention. We’ve always wanted llamas here and were excited to jump in and give these two the life they deserve. We look forward to giving them a wonderful life with lots of love, alpaca friends, and of course treats here at the farm!
