Tami is an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Technician with over 20 years spent between general care and emergency veterinary medicine. Her journey in animal care began at a young age, as she first realized her deep love for animals as a toddler, fostering a lifelong passion for helping pets in need. Tami’s diverse background in general practice and emergency care has given her a well-rounded expertise, allowing her to provide exceptional care in a variety of veterinary settings.
Throughout her career, Tami has honed her skills and developed a calm demeanor and ability to handle even the most challenging situations with grace. Her experience has allowed her to assist in everything from routine check-ups to high-stakes emergency treatments, making her an invaluable member of the team.
At home, Tami is surrounded by a large group of pets that are as much family as they are companions. Her crew includes Groot, a playful Staffordshire Terrier; Nebula, an energetic Australian Shepherd mix; Petals, a sweet calico cat; Big OT, a laid-back orange tabby; Marley (MarMar), a friendly black and white cat; and Rocket, a spirited Jack Russell Terrier mix. Together, they bring joy and comfort to her life, and Tami takes great pride in caring for them.
Outside of work, Tami enjoys spending quality time with her son and her pets, often engaging in activities like camping, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. She also has a passion for gardening and lawn care, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing her plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. When she’s not spending time with her family and pets, Tami enjoys the thrill of riding her motorcycle, embracing the freedom and adventure it brings.
