Hey guys!
Just a heads up for Kara’s clients tomorrow. I will have someone shadowing with me tomorrow. She is lovely and has worked with animals in the past and we’re hoping she’s going to make a fabulous addition to the team in the coming weeks!

We are still looking to hire atleast one more person preferably from the Billerica area to help cover and create more availability. Position is part time 10-7 1-2 days a week ( you choose the days) but could move to full time after a couple months if you desire to be full time. Experience working with animals in a professional setting is required for their safety and yours but we can teach you how to do nail trims!

It’s our birthday!

5 years ago today I started Hot Diggity Dog. What started as a small side hustle to make some extra cash during COVID while I finished my grooming internship quickly grew beyond my wildest dreams.

I honestly thought when I started this that once the pandemic was over people wouldn’t need me anymore and I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever have one employee let alone four (and still be looking for a fifth).

Thank you so much to everyone who has stuck by me over the last 5 years through the growth and the growing pains I am so proud of what this business has become and I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team and the support of all of you.

Cheers to 5 more years!

Hey guys
I’m not sure why this needs to continually be repeated but you need to be home at the time of your appointment there is no exception

Paige has had three clients just in this window alone we’re not home at the time of their appointment the policy is spelled out very clearly and it is unfair to her and everyone else when she has to sit there and wait for somebody when she’s already battling animal behavior and traffic to try to stay on time.

There are so many moving parts of this job and it’s hard enough as it is please do not make the job harder by not adhering to the policy

I’m always open about my personal life with my
Clients because you guys are my family so today I wanted to share this.

Yesterday I hit 8 months sober im very proud of it, Its one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I didn’t drink at work ever and I didn’t drink every day but I drank often and when I did I binge drank and it was affecting everything in my life especially my mental health. I was extremely suicidal and decided something had to give because I couldn’t continue the way things were going and having lost friends
To su***de I didn’t want to put my friends and family
through that. I still suffer a lot with mental health issues and I probably always will (I have ocd and that is an uphill battle every day) but I don’t wake up every
Morning wishing I didn’t anymore and that’s worth it.

These last few months have been hell made harder by the fact that I no longer had drinking as my only coping mechanism. I didn’t do this alone I’ve had a ton of support from my friends and family and all of you. Even if you dont realize it a lot of you have helped me in more ways than you know.

So thank you, thank you for supporting my business but also thank you for supporting me. The friendship and love I have gained from meeting all of you has made all the difference in my life.

Hey guys

quick note my new schedule starts next week I will only be working Monday Wednesday Friday between 10 and four I will still be taking a couple of after 4 o’clock appointments for animals that absolutely have to be done by me but I have at this point past most of my after 4 o’clock plans onto the girls and Marshall if I haven’t already moved you to another tech you will not be affected by the change

Please know this isn’t because i dont want to see you or your pets i love you guys and alot of you are the best part of my day its strictly because im getting older and tired this has been the hardest year of my life and after experiencing so much loss in such a short period of time I need to be around more for my dogs and family and working seven days a week 15 -18 hour days for the first few years of this business really took its toll physically and mentally and it’s time for me to take a step back from taking clients to focus on my health and do some of the back office things that I have been putting off for the last five years so i can continue to do this

As we hire more staff hopefully in the near future I expect that I will likely be cutting back more in taking clients I will never fully step away from doing the clients myself because that’s what I love but coming up on five years it is time for me to focus on doing more backend things like finally switching to that LLC, expanding the business and in general giving my team a chance to shine.
