Summer Scaries continue!

Every summer, we talk about blue-green algae and the need to protect your pet from these harmful "blooms." Contaminated water can be toxic to both animals and humans, with effects ranging from skin irritation and stomach issues to liver failure and seizures.

Thanks to MVMA member, Dr. Lilly Rogers, for providing this information so you and your pets can stay safe and healthy this season.

Time to vote! Who wore it better, Joanna or Hallie? (Hint: Joanna has two legs and Hallie has four!)
Hallie was in Monday for a dental cleaning and some tooth extractions. She’s wearing protective eyewear (aka doggles) to protect her eyes during post-procedure laser therapy! Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that increases blood circulation to the treatment area to promote healing and provide comfort. It can also be used for chronic pain management for osteoarthritis, to reduce inflammation in an infected ear canal, and to promote healing of a surgical incision or a burn or wound. Ask us to learn more!

As the days grow cooler, PLEASE don't forget to bang on the hood and honk the horn before starting your car to make sure none of our furry friends are hanging around INSIDE to keep warm!
