Fun morning teaching at Beth Sholom -The place to be, Framingham for a joint sisterhood/brotherhood game day ! We celebrated the first Mah Jongg for this player Mike by saying a Shehechiyanu! Great job by Arlene getting the second Mah Jongg! A fun morning was had by all❤️Joyce Rapoport Habalow, a long time friend is Sisterhood co-president so it was a pleasure to join her group today.

My first TRUE “heavenly hand” ! I had Mahjong after the optional pass before the game even started. This confirms the theory that you never do an optional pass with the person who stops the passing. I tried to deny it for a long time, but this is living proof. ( yes, I did stop the passing.)

One of my best strategies was to teach my scrapbook buddies how to play mah jongg. When it’s time to put down our scissors and take a break, it is the PERFECT de-stressor!! One friend got a “heavenly hand” -a mah jongg on her very first turn!!!! Amazing luck 🍀🙌
