From comforting a nervous pup to assisting in life-saving surgeries, you do everything with your whole heart. You not only provide medical care but also bring comfort and reassurance to both animals and their owners during some of the most challenging times. We are VERY EXCITED to announce and introduce to you our newest veterinarian, Dr. Rebekah Jackson!

Dr. Jackson is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but moved to Colorado at the age of 9 years old. She primarily grew up in Colorado and eventually attended the University of Colorado, Denver for her undergraduate studies. She earned her Bachelor's in Biology with a Psychology minor in 2018. After continuing to work as a veterinary assistant/technician for another year, she went on to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2023. She spent her first year after veterinary school practicing at a veterinary clinic in Bennett, CO, but ultimately, she and her husband made the decision to move to Texas to be closer to family.

Dr. Jackson enjoys client education on preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery for both cats and dogs. She enjoys building strong relationships with clients who entrust her to provide the best veterinary care to their fur babies....treating them as if they were her own.

Dr. Jackson and her husband, Nate, have two senior dogs, Lacey and Bella, and two cats, Bizkit and Ash. In her free time, Dr. Jackson enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors....especially on the water.

Dr. Jackson is excited to join South Bosque's exceptional veterinary team and get to know the Waco community. Her first day will be Monday, September 16th, and she is already taking appointments. Please help us welcome Dr. Jackson and Nate to the SBVC Family!!!
