🐾 Meet Ash – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾
Hi! My name is Ash, and I’m a very lucky 4-month-old pup with a story that started a little scary—but has turned full of love 💛
Back on April 28th, my 3 siblings and I were found running along a rural Tennessee backroad—hungry, dirty, and confused. Thankfully, a kind young couple stopped and saved us. At first we were scared, but we quickly realized… humans can be pretty amazing 🐶✨
Now, I’m safe, healthy, and ready to find my forever family!
💙 A little about me:
•Handsome red & white coat with a cute freckled nose
•Super sweet, gentle, and loving personality
•Total cuddle bug (seriously—I love sitting in your lap!)
•My foster mom thinks I could be a great therapy dog
•Medium energy—playful but not wild
•About 24 lbs now, expected to be ~50 lbs full grown
I’m learning all the good puppy things like leash walking and house manners, and I’m doing great! I’m eager to please, easy to train, and wonderful with kids 🧸
💉 I’m fully vetted—neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—thanks to the amazing team at Critter Cavalry Rescue, who are helping me find the perfect home.
🏡 My dream home would have:
•A fenced yard or an active family who loves walks or trips to the park
•Kids to play with (maybe even read me stories!)

Lady is a beautiful Dalmatian (DOB 10/2/22, almost 4 years old) with a heart as big as her playful spirit. She’s full of energy when it’s time to have fun—but just as happy to curl up close and snuggle at the end of the day.

This sweet girl has been raised in a home with young children and another dog, and she truly loves everyone she meets. She’s loyal, affectionate, and thrives on being part of a family.
Due to an unexpected out-of-state move and a growing family, her owners heartbreakingly no longer were able to give her the time and attention she deserves. This is no fault of Lady’s—she is a wonderful dog who is:

This handsome 3-year-old Standard Poodle (56 lbs) has a gentle, sensitive heart and is ready for a calm, loving forever home. Cash has been through some recent changes and is simply looking for stability, reassurance, and a place where he truly belongs.

Camp Cocoa lost a very special honorary camp counselor this week—one whose spirit left a lasting mark from her home at Camp Cornbread.

Lilly came into the lives of Brianne and Paul—two of Camp Cocoa’s biggest supporters—as a foster, their big hearts gave her the patience, love, and understanding she needed to truly thrive. In return, she became an irreplaceable part of their family, exactly where she was always meant to be.

She reminded us that every dog is different, and those differences are exactly what make them so special and worthy of love.

Thank you, Lilly, for everything you were and everything you taught us.

Barnaby is a young 8 month old pup that catches your eye and also your heart when you first meet him. He is a wonderful young boy that weighs 40 pounds and should become a handsome adult dog that will weigh in the range of 50 pounds as an adult. His life started with great hope but eventually the people who adopted this cute pup became cold hearted and treated him with physical hits and loud voices when he was not the perfect puppy. A neighbor intervened and begged our partner rescue, Critter Cavalry Rescue, to take this young and innocent pup in to our program.

Barnaby escaped years of emotional and physical abuse. He is such a bright and happy spirit that just needs some time to get his mind wrapped around the love that is being offered to him now. No loud voices and the forgiveness when he is NOT perfect. He is so nice and submissive and humble in spirit. He just wants to be accepted and have fun with other dogs and maybe become good friends with a cat if needed. His breed is more of a Shepherd/Heeler mix and we just adore his strong black and tan coat that is crowned with the best standup ears ever! His face pleads with you to be happy with him and to be his FRIEND. Can you imagine all these past months how sad it was not to feel love?

She is 16 months old and a 55 pound girl who is full of life—playful, highly energetic, and always ready for her next adventure. She would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run, explore, and burn off her energy. Whether it’s chasing a ball or just zooming around, she loves having space to be her happy, active self. After playtime, Millie turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. Incoming to Camp Cocoa!!

Come meet Wheeler – the boy who steals hearts everywhere he goes! This 14 month-old, 45 -pound German Shepherd/Husky mix is as smart as he is handsome. Wheeler has already mastered sit and shake with both paws and became fully housebroken in just one week with his foster family. He’s crate trained, learning to walk well on a leash, and eager to soak up everything that’s taught to him. This boy with the amazing smile and wonderful ears knows how to steal hearts. Wheeler is a social butterfly who loves everyone—kids, adults, dogs, and even cats. In fact, he’s convinced the cats in his foster home need constant “baths,” which he happily provides with endless affection. He also enjoys curling up in a lap, whether it belongs to a person or another pup. Wheeler’s past wasn’t easy.

He and his brother were abandoned, and he was found underweight and wondering what was going to happen next for him. He runs and plays like a kid and he loves to hang out with his foster mom while she works from home. This boy needs a fenced yard to access easily at all hours of the day if he wants. A work from home or stay at home mom would be best for this boy since he cannot be happy being crated for 9 hours daily Monday - Friday. He is wonderful with cats and does well with dogs when playing with them. He does want all the attention from the humans and has a touch of jealousy sometimes if another dog gets more pets. He has an amazing resilient spirit and loves to be the center of attention from his family. What makes this particular boy so special isn’t just his good looks or intelligence—it’s his kind heart. He’s grateful for every bit of love and safety he’s found in rescue, and he’s ready to give that love right back to the family lucky enough to call him their own.
