I get the funniest requests for the zoo animals and had to share this one. This was from a bride who wanted my alpacas to look like this for a wedding at a winery In Napa. My alpacas do not look like this ...nor do they travel well ..but I thought the idea was cute

Great day for birthday parties at MimiZ petting zoo. My helper Boedy did an amazing job and sister addy was also super helpful. The desert tortoises woke up today - and the sulcata was so happy to see them ! My pocket pals (made from the sheep's wool ) were more popular than my necklaces today ! One made it into Addys pocket 😚

I feed the donkeys - emus - and dog separately (but supervised ) in separate corners in the shelter , and they have learned to snuggle together in the rain with the great Pyroneez at the door - guarding them 🙏

I keep his former human updated with his shenanigans by texting her using his words 😂 ...she appreciates it ...or ...she thinks I'm bonkers 😂 " MOM ! I climbed a tree this morning- it was terrifying- I screamed for new mom anAnd she calmly guided me down ...phew ..this is working out well for me. I get to come and go as I want ! The other feral cats are not happy for me. Such haters "

This is Merlin. He is my new employee and is responsible for rodent control. His previous human found him in her engine and had to have him extracted. She knew he wanted to hunt, so after six months, she selflessly brought him to me. There is no greater gift than to be chosen to care for someone's love bug...PS this is the most aggressively affectionate animal I've ever experienced. lol . I leashed him up and exposed him to all of the habitats tonight. He's gonna have the best dreams ever 😽
