Team Feldspar Ann Martin is an international award-winning master groomer, judge, instructor, and speaker. Our team is made up of groomers who are from all experience levels.

ies best Ann Martin. She has been handling and exhibiting show dogs since she was a child, and now continues that legacy with her line of Feldspar Standard Poodles and Papillons. Certified as an NCMG at age twenty, Ann began competing in grooming competitions in 1992 and became a certifier for the National Dog Groomers Association of America in 1995. In her six years of competing, she became a member of GroomTeam USA and received many top awards, including the title of Best American Groomer, Best Team Groomer in the World, Oster Tournament of Champions Winner, and Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award Winner, as well as multiple Best All Around Groomer and Best in Show awards. Ann has since taught seminars and judged grooming competitions around the world. Focused on sharing a lifetime of expertise with groomers looking to expand their skill sets, she is currently recording a video library of educational grooming videos and is launching the Mastery Series with Irina “Pina” Pinkusevich. From first time competitors to seasoned. We all support one another in meetings, competing, and in our journey of life as a groomer. We believe we have an open space to be confident to ask any question and to share any ideas. Our goal is not only to further our training, knowledge, and skills, but to lift each other up and care for one another in an industry that can really wipe you out.

Elizabeth Gosa has been competing for two years and has had quite a 2025. But that’s no surprise as her first time competing she received a 1st place win. With her talent and determination, we all know she’s headed for a return to the top of the leaderboard very soon.
Liz’s confidence and ease of making everyone feel welcome keeps the family dynamic alive at our meetings.

Rosemary Gaona started competing this year and has three competitions under her belt in entry Poodles. Rose went from being the quiet girl in the meetings to being the first to jump in and answer the question. We are so excited to watch her advance in her career as she continues blossoming in her confidence. She is a talented and very determined lady and if you want to feel like everything is going to be okay, relax, and be uplifted - hang with Rosemary, her name says it all.

Angel Chaffin Beckman started competing over 2 years ago and at her very first competition, she won best first timer. Like most of us, she went from questioning what she knew to being confident in the ring. Sometimes, it is hard to see her behind her giant poodle, but she is there chiseling away working on her masterpiece. Angel is a true sweetheart of a woman, making sure to keep the atmosphere lighthearted but does have some game with throwing in a little quip here and there to keep us laughing.

Emily DeLacey has just started competing this year and has entered 3 entry Poodle competitions so far. We all have loved watching Emily grow in her skills and enjoy the competition life. Tami Pangborn has been competing for over 2 years and has just been on fire. Since her first win of 3rd place at GroomExpo West Pasadena, she decided she would just go ahead and keep doing that. Her giant smile and enthusiasm for competing is contagious.

Elijah Clements joined the team this year and has been spending his time learning and working on getting his family to understand that he WILL have his own poodle soon.
He has been a great supporter, encourager, as well as a dedicated social media promoter of the team. We all can’t wait until he is up on stage competing with us! Always ready to give a kind word and encouragement (and a good source of the latest tea), Elijah has been nothing but fun.

Heather Jones Ausburne started competing 4 years ago. Her very first competition resulted in a Best First Timer award at SuperZoo and she was hooked. While wrestling stage fright, fear of heights, and the tendency to disassociate when all eyes are on her - she she still competes at a high level. She admits that sometimes competing is a bit overwhelming but once on stage, she is able to tune out the noise. Heather also brings her love of teaching, mothering, and teasing to the team.

Kai Kasick has finally made it official and is joining us! He has been coming to our meetings with his pen and notebook taking lots of notes and decided this just might be for him. After bathing at his mom’s shop and basically growing up in a grooming shop, curiosity into the life got the better of him. Purchasing his first show poodle puppy was the first step and now this. We are overjoyed!
